About me I am a 82-year-old veteran of WWII serving in tha U.S. Army from January 13, 1945 to December 1, 1946. My tour of duty included Okinawa and Korea. My job assignments were Infantry Squad Rifleman; Editor, Regimental Newspaper; Public Relations Writer, 7th Infantry Division Headquarters. I graduated from college in 1949 with a liberal arts degree. My career was in the printing and publishing industry. My wife and I have been married for 59 years. I have two children and four grandchildren. I retired on December 31, 1996 at 70-years of age.
