I have been thinking and have come to realize something. The Constitution clearly states it is the Supreme Law of The Land. And that all laws which contradict it are null and void.
"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."-Supremacy Clause. For those who haven't read it.
Now, is it just my interpretation of this or does this mean that all those handgun bans (I pick them because they are some of the most blatant examples) are not just illegal, unconstitutional and unethical, but also inapplicable? And that those who refuse to obey them are not only well within their right, but that any who would arrest them for doing so could be charged with false imprisionment?

This blog is about Common Sense by Glenn Beck. If anyone who reads this hasn't read it I strongly suggest reading it. In addition to Glenn's Common Sense it also has the book that inspired it, Thomas Paine's Common Sense. And it's worth it just for that. It costs under $10 and is worth every penny(at least in my humble oppinion). And if your not convinced here's an excerpt from it;
" I think I know who you are. After September 11th you thought our country had changed for the better. But the months that followed proved otherwise. We began to divide ourselves and the partisan bickering that was absent from blood lines and church service started all over again. You sometimes argue with friends about politics, not because you are a political activist, but because you think the issues are actually important. You have strong beliefs, but you also have an open mind and a warm heart. You try to do the right thing every day. You work hard, you always try to do your best and you play by the rules. You have credit cards, but you can make the payments. You have a home, but with a loan you can afford. Maybe you bought a flat screen television that wasn’t exactly a necessity, but you’ve never been reckless. You don’t have much in savings and your retirement plans have lost a significant amount of money. You may go to church, but most weekends, you don’t really want to—you’d rather sleep in or play with your kids. Besides, it bothers you that people cut each other off in the parking lot right after the service.You have children and, like all families, you also have your share of problems—but you’re making it. You constantly hope that your kids don’t notice you’re bluffing as a parent most of the time.
You don’t feel like there’s enough time in the day anymore to just be a family. Everyone is always going in six different directions. You know material things don’t matter, but you wonder why it makes you feel like a bad parent if your kids don’t have certain shoes, the newest video games, or aren’t signed-up for five different sports teams.You didn’t have anywhere near the kind of stuff that today’s kids have and yet you look back on your childhood with a sense of nostalgia and pride. If your family was poor, you didn’t know it.You turn on the television at the end of a long, tiring day and watch as faceless analysts in left/right boxes argue about things done by bankers that, in retrospect, seem implausible. You’re worried about what’s happening to our economy, but you’re more worried about what it means for your family—and you’re not sure what to do.You don’t hate people who are different than you, but you stopped expressing opinions on sensitive issues a long time ago because you don’t want to be called a racist, bigot or homophobe if you stand by your values and principles. You believe in treating people justly and honestly but there is a difference between right and wrong.You go to bed exhausted almost every night, knowing you have to get up the next day and do it all over again.You thought that the politicians you supported and defended cared about the issues you do. Then you began to realize that you were wrong—they only care about themselves and their careers. You feel used and betrayed.You don’t think it’s right that while you worked hard, lived prudently, and spent wisely, those who did the opposite are now being bailed out at your expense. You realize now that self-serving politicians and bankers built our financial system on a house of cards that, despite the cheery promises and rosy forecasts, is now collapsing.Now our government, the instigator of our problems, is telling everyone that they have to start sacrificing. Don’t they understand that I already have been, you think. You weren’t the one spending too much or living on money you didn’t have. You made decisions rooted in logic while others made decisions rooted in greed—yet now everyone must pay equally?Yet, despite all of that, you’re still willing to sacrifice more because you want America to succeed. But you demand a plan that’s based on common sense and that actually has a chance to work. You’ve called your congressman a few times in the past, but they don’t listen. Now you just scream at the television. It’s about as effective as the phone calls.The light from the television flickers on the darkened room walls - people at tea parties across the nation fill the screen. You don’t know how to feel. You want to do something, but that isn’t you. You’re not an activist. You don’t make signs or chant: USA! USA! USA! So, you turn-off your light and go to sleep.Every night it seems you are faced with a choice: do you unplug or do you speak out? Both of those options make you uncomfortable so you do neither…and your frustration continues to grow.

I am not really sure how to go about this, however I know I must do something. This probably won't change anyone's mind but I have to do this so if the Republic does indeed fail at the very least I may tell my descendants that I tried, that I seen our country sliding away from the Republic she was founded as and at least tried to slow it's slide away from the Republic.
We cannot let this hijacking continue. We must stop it at all costs. Because should we fail to do so we will be remembered as the ones who watched as the Government took it's final step towards Totalitarianism and did nothing. We must vote EVERYONE out of office who votes their oppinion, constituency be damned. We must vote EVERYONE out of office who supports Nationalized Healthcare. We must vote EVERYONE out of office who did not argue the Unconstitutionality of the Bailout and Stimulus. And those who supported them. We must vote EVERYONE out of office who has ignored our calls. We must vote EVERYONE out of office who would not read the bills before voting on them. We must vote EVERYONE out of office who did not raise objection to pelosi's claims that enforcing immigration laws is un-American. In short, we must vote most every Representative and Senator OUT.
Because if we don't, the Republic will die. It is that simple. It will not survive this assault on our liberties. It will die and we will be the ones blamed. We will be forever known as the Generation that let the Republic die. It is that urgent, we must vote these blood sucking, liberty stealing politicians out; NOW! WE WILL NOT GET ANOTHER CHANCE!
We must vote Representatives and Senators that listen to their constituency into office. That obey the Constitution. That actually do their damn jobs! That are not in it just to get re-elected but actually care about the people they serve. We must stop looking at the letter after their name and start looking at the character. We must break the two party monopoly, our founding father told us this was the surest way to tyrrany. And the very thing they feared the most.
I can't stress this enough, we have to DO SOMETHING. I hardly recognize my country anymore. If the Founding Fathers were here they would be disgusted. And would probably march the great Majority of politicians to the nearest gallows.
Now if any of you have read Glenn Beck's Common Sense you may notice some similarities between it and this. That would be because it inspired this. And if anyone who reads this hasn't already bought it I strongly urge you to. Wether your Stance is Conservative, Moderate or Liberal read it. It costs under ten dollars and is under 180 pages counting both Glenn Beck's Common Sense and Thomas Paine's Common Sense. So please, pick it up, read it and understand what is happening to our country.
If you read this and agree with even a little of it endorse it. Maybe if elect enough Third Party Candidates come 2010 and 2012 we will send a message to the leaders of both parties. Any Un-Constitutionality will not be tolerated, any Assaults on our Liberties will not be tolerated and any of the other two will assure that you will be looking for a job come next election.
So, I will leave you with a quote that means much to me; "Give me Liberty, or give me Death."

This issue isn't exactly new but there are still some who don't understand so I will explain it.
We of the Right are up in arms over this because once a bow passes a certain point it is no longer a show of respect but of subserviance. This is more or less horizontal. And when the leader of a nation does this to the leader of another nation it shows his nation is subserviant to the other nation.
The General Secretary bowed like this to the king of Saudi Arabia. Saying that his nation (for those who don't know that's us) is subserviant to the King's. Does this sound like something the ruler of a superpower should do? I don't think so. Our nation is suserviant to no other on the face of the Earth. Had Bush did this the media would have been all over it. But the One does it and it's nothing. However I guess I should have figured that when Brian Williams bowed to the General Secretary. However you have to give him a bit of credit;
at least he doesn't hide his allegiance.

HR-3247
This is the number of a bill that will allow the Government to "teach" you how to parent. What is "socially acceptable", what is the "right way", how you "should" raise your children. And allow them to "check up on you" if they deem it "needed". And also what to teach your children. Now I am by law required to post this before going forward;
Warning: content below is from an Infuriated, Patriotic American and isn't suitable for family veiwing.
WHAT THE F*CK IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? HOW IN HELL DO PEOPLE THINK THIS IS EVEN LEGAL!?!?! THIS IS COMMUNISM!!! AND I WON'T F*CKING STAND FOR IT!!! THIS CANNOT PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We must stop this, and vote any member who sponsered, co-sponsered or endorsed it out of office and keep them out.
And if any member of the obamanation reads this, you will not get away with this sh*t. We will stop you and the public's oppinion will turn aggainst you. And when it does, you will be thrown out of office before you can say "Uhhhhhhhh". This sh*t will not stand.
If the government thinks the American People will sit by and let them be as tyrranical as they want they are wrong. And they will find out that underestimating our love of Freedom will be a devastating mistake.
