rreppy (Green) - 5 months agoWell, even if you disagree with what he says in his documentaries, every thing in them is backed up by evidence and references. This is in contrast to Rush Limbaugh, whom I have never heard anything but lies come out of his mouth in all the years I've been listening to him. He doesn't even bother to pretend to be factual anymore; he just makes s**t up as he goes! So, who's the a*****e here? countryplowboy 5 months ago

Cuba has a better healthcare system than we do. "Cuba has a better healthcare system than we do." - That is neither a truth nor a lie, but an opinion, like "vanilla is better than chocolate". The Cuban healthcare system covers all its citizens and does not bankrupt people just because they get sick. Some may agree that that fits the definition of "better". They do not have the expensive life-extending technologies we have. Some may say that makes them worse. Either way, these are opinions and not facts. I'm beginning to understand the problem you are having in seperating the Truth from the spew that comes out of Rush Limbaugh. rreppy (Green) - 4 months ago

The premise of the movie is that Cuba and other countries with Nationalized Healthcare have a better Healthcare System than us. Which is simply laughable. It cites a UN study which has as it's criteria for a good system that the "rich subsidize the poor" and "fairness" which is set up so as a country who's doctors go Jason Voorhees on their patients rank higher than ours. But if you want specifics, did he not say that America has one of the worst healthcare systems in the world? And what of bowling for columbine? But look at his basic persona (at least when he started out): that us a dumpy nerd with glasses going around with cameraman and mike in tow to annoyingly ask very pointed questions at people who are not use to being questioned at all (like on Roger & Me') or when the Taliban illegalized TV sets (way before 9/11) and Michael sent van after van of TV sets to the Afghanistan people. 1 - 15 / 15
