From News: Top Republicans puzzled by Palin's abrupt resignation
way2convey (Independent) - 4 months agoI think Palin is basically a very sharp and honest person. She, along with her family, have endured a media onslaught like I have never witnessed and thought I never would in this country. I can't blame her for wanting to protect her family from that type of media abuse. She obviously loves her family more that her position. 1 - 1 / 1

Sarah Palin could of had a very good chance of being taken seriously, and not become a caricature of herself, if she would of acted like a leader rather than a "victim" of the Media. When she turned negative on Obama and equated his name constantly with Ayers, she fumbled. Once was enough. Now the recent resignation as govenor of the beautiful state of Alaska has brought even more doubts for the electorate to mull over.
Is she in it (Politics) for the money, or for the service to her country?
Let us not forget that she belongs to an organization that wants Alaska to suscede from the union. How Anti-American is that?
Can she save her political career? That is the question.
If she would of remained as Govenor Palin she could of shown what kind of leader she could be for the country, not only on a national level, but also internationally. By working with such nations as Russia, Canada, Greenland, Iceland and Scandinavian countries concerning future Energy needs, and fishing, she would of been able to show her mettle and be taken seriously as a leader.
It begs the question, who then, in the party of Abe Lincoln, can the voters trust to lead the United States?
