I remember seeing the fires from Los Angeles on the horizon from the Watts Riot. We have a generation of X'ers, Nabobs and Nicompoops who have grown up with ugly language learned (and parroted) from comedians, rappers, and in-bred racists. Of course the same goes the other way around- Rappers who use hateful language about women is the first example that comes to mind.
