From News: THE DEATH OF ISRAEL
DarylWashington (Republican) - 11 months agoYou are perpetrating the idea of WW3. If Iran decides to attack Israel it would create a spiraling effect. America would have no choice but to back Israel. Syria would get into play and then Britain. It would have everyone going back and forth. The difference would be Asia, Russia. They would actually probably stay neutral. It would be a great power play with them. See Russia has ties with Iran, and America, so if Russia intervenes, we know we are looking at Global Warfare. Israel right now have enough capability to attack Iran herself. However she can not do it with the combat. It would have to be with missiles. Iran revolutionary guards would put a very tight squeeze on Israeli troops. Israel would need our help when it comes to true combat. Now the problem comes with this. Man. We take everything that is God given and destroy it. We kill for water, food, property. We conquer the weak. I can not understand why Palestine has not been named a state yet. Why can't they just name where they are a state and get the funds. Who decides what is a state anyway? Why do they have that right to determine that? This is where no boundaries comes in. Where man can freely travel anywhere in the world that he wants to unabated. guitar102 (Democratic) - 8 months agoGOOD! The sooner the better! We'll have some peace in the Middle East for a change - and no more US welfare for Israel! There was peace a thousand years before Israel was resurrected! way2convey (Independent) - 8 months agoI believe it is Iran that has strongly voiced it's desire to see Israel, the Jews, annihilated, not the other way around. In fact, terrorists, including our greatest enemies, echo their desire to destroy Israel. Israel is a tiny spec of a country. They generally try and live peacefully and have given land to Palestine only to have the suicide bombers continue blowing up civilians inside Israel. When they defend themselves they are the bully. When they try and engage peaceful negotiations, the terrorists disrupt the effort and when Israel is forced to respond they are the bad guys. pasanta (Democratic) - 8 months ago

Why? The unanswered question of the continue engineering of extremism and the lack of efforts to address the real issue here is the sustaining factor in the conflict. The extremism is not the originater of the conflict, injustice is. pasanta (Democratic) - 8 months ago

I personally, would endorse a scaling back of US military support to Israel, it would make a big difference going forward with peace talks. But with iron grid Israeli interest groups plastered robustly in the halls and corridors of the powers that be that would be like pulling a tooth. But in God we shall overcome. pasanta (Democratic) - 8 months ago

Your comments was 3 months ago, but am sure your views must I have changed with the direction President Obama is taking on the Israel/Palestine matter. Like you rightfully put, "Israel right now have enough capability to attack Iran herself." thanks to US financial support. So tell me who stands to lose in any events of war? Neutral 3 months agoPlease don't get me wrong, I am no friend of Hamas. Political 1 month agoIsrael might be better off if they didn't attack Iran if you look at how things could spiral out of control. In his farewell address George Washington warned us to stay out of entangling alliances and since there isn't any military treaty between the USA and Israel the United States wouldn't have to intervene. If I were president and Israel bombed Iran and Iran declared war on Israel I would tell Israel that the world would probably hate the US even more and they were the ones who attacked Iran. On CNN they interviewed someone who had played out war games between Iran and Israel and everyone essentially loses because of economic collapse, rising oil prices, ect... If they did start a war then it would be their own fault if they lost the war. If the assertion in the article is true, that the President do endorse the views addressed, than he is right on! lsarel need to stop war mongering with Iran, stop instigating war and assumption of being wiped out from the earth by Iran! If that will happen, never, as Israel possesses strong military capacity to fight back(HELLOOO, IS ANYONE HEARING ME, remember their attacks on their neighbors, WBG and Lebanon), more any attack, would be because Israel provoked it.
Preemptive attack on Iran by Israel, is not the answer! For one, any attack would not land idle, Iran will react too! No more war Israel, we want peace and peace should be mongered not war!
Israel need to stop oppressing the Palestinians-Arabs and Iran will not war with them. Israel just killed hundreds of Palestinians and collapsed a good portion of what maybe their economy, in so called retaliation from pinprick attack from extremist faction of the Hamas group. The wounds are freshed, the issues are unresolved and here they ARE again, instigating another war...crying wolf...?
If the President said it or someone in his cabinet said it, he/or they are right! More to those who are making threat against the President because of this position, they should know that, these threat will not touch him because he is protected by God.
Again, the solution to Israel's quest for sustainable war and for continue US miliatry aid and financial support for them, is finding alternative forms of sustainable revenue for their upkeep. Anything for peace and not war!!!
