My lack of comment on your blogs is entirely a lack of words. My heart and prayers go out for the sufferers of the inhumanity occurring in South Africa. I don't know how to comment. I know no words to offer, the one thing I know I can do is pray. -- I have a friend who fled Eritrea. It's Eastern Africa, not South, but has its own mix of suffering. Max posted here for awhile, she survived brutality in Tajikistan, for her religion. For the few friends/ acquaintances, some non-Caucasion, non-Christian, non-Americans, who suffered the vicious savagery of neighbors, I am able to offer only an ear to listen, and prayer. If I had the influence to stop any of it, I would, in a heartbeat. -aloha!

Our media here ignores those stories because it happens to whites. If the same things happened to non whites it would be the lead story on every newscast.
