The New Civil Rights Movement - On the eve of President Obama’s inauguration, in a campaign- fundraising letter, Rep. Foxx wrote, “for those of us who believe in limited government, individual liberty, free enterprise, this is a scary time.” Scary? That’s not inspiring. That’s not good leadership. No, you're wrong. Do some research. It was not just a robbery. It was a crime motivated by hate. Read the article. Read all the things that they did to him. Read why they did it. Read about all the planning that went into it.

It's fine to have an opinion. It's not fine to be a public official and express an ignorant and uninformed opinion. It's even worse to lie about the truth.
