Washington Post - WASHINGTON -- The Supreme Court has ruled that white firefighters in New Haven, Conn., were unfairly denied promotions because of their race, reversing a decision that high court nominee Sonia Sotomayor endorsed as an appeals court judge.
New Haven was wrong to scrap a promotion exam because no African-Americans and only two Hispanic firefighters were likely to be made lieutenants or captains based on the results, the court said Monday in a 5-4

That's the problem. Too many think discrimination is the sole realm of the minority population. Even the media spouts off with words like "reverse discrimination" which, when analyzed, means no discrimination. These guys deserve their promotions. Period.

He acted like he was on meth that day none of his comments made much sense and they were all in capitals. But then again I haven't seen him comment much. He might be bonkers.

Great post. Her membership in LaRaza and poor judicial decision in this matter are enough to keep her off the court, at least it would seem so to most reasonable people.
