I think she will probably try. I don't think she will get very far, however. You're right, it's doubtful the GOP will take her very seriously anymore and I think she would/will be torn apart in the primaries. Just my prediction at this point.

Jeremy86- I did read the article. I was making a comment to DCHERRY17 comment. Palin has struck a loud chord of "extreme disingenuousness" (as you put it). I can't see how anybody in the GOP can take her seriously. Do you think that she will try to run for President?

Read the article. It s a piece by Rich Lowry, who is a conservative, but it's actually very critical of Palin. In fact this is the next paragraph:

It's just too absurd. Palin mentioned Alaska or Alaskans 34 times in a 17-minute statement that must be a new record in the history of protesting too much. Palin says she hates politics as usual, and true to her word, on July 3 she staged a spectacle in politics as unusual. But she still proved adept at the traditional political art of extreme disingenuousness.

DCCHERRY17- Oh please! Palin has only used Alaska to further her own goals. At this time of economic peril she has abandoned Alaska and the great American citizens who live and work there. A true Republican wouldn't take this course of action. The GOP should also consider if she is just using them as well. It is all about the Sarah Saga Soap Opera. I hope this doesn't cut into her time of killing wolves from airplanes in deep snow as they try to get away.
