But this hasn’t deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession. Just think Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing china for the White House during the Civil War.

Still attacking the source not the facts. I guess when the facts are true that is all the libs can do, attack the source or the person giving them. You must of memorized the communist Alinsky's writtings because you have his suggestions down pat. You might think about changing your party affiliation from democratic to communist, pardon me I forgot for the last 30 years or so there is no difference between the two.

While it would be unfair for me to comment on the relative merits of this particular report, would it be fair to suggest that the hype around the obama administration has proven , if not unjustified then certainly unfulfilled.

To add some context, how many 'attendants' have the recent First Ladies had?

Meanwhile SDU, just because you didn't hear about Mrs. Bush's actions doesn't mean she wasn't active. As a former teacher and cancer survivor she was extremely active with literacy, teaching, library, cancer, hospital and wellness causes. She happened to be very low key about what she did. You know, humble. I realize that may not compute what with the over-celebrity status the Obamas have been given.

Helping people and working to improve the lives of all Americans hardly seems like a whim and seems worthy of staff. It's nice to see again a first lady with the audacity and strength to use her title to help people. It was disappointing to watch our former first lady be nonexistent. Once again we have a wise and intelligent woman married to our president.
