HELLO, yes like you, I'm one of the percentage that watched the memorial service from beginning to end and thought the service was Elegantly done and fit for a King.... This One Being The KING of POP !!!

I actually think what he admitted to doing was part of a crime and that something happened, though maybe not necessarily what has come out on either side. I think buying children off and his notoriety got him a lot of sway. But that being said, Peter King should have kept his mouth shut in this case. The man has passed, what he did if anything can't be done to to anyone else ever again, and his children deserve some respect right now too. I mean, there are just certain things you don't do right after someone passes, and King should have known that and practiced some propriety. Can't says anything about the man, Peter King, but I think he's out of a job.
While 60% news coverage was too much as other news was ignored, I will admit to being in the 10% that watched the memorial coverage. I actually watched it beginning to end on CNN. I think the memorial service being televised was in good taste.

At Best, Peter King is CONTRADICTORY and is probable very Envious And Jealous of MICHAEL JACKSON Success Story....
Peter King could live a thousand years and would never or could never have this kind of FAME.
MICHAEL JACKSON in all his Colors, was truely NOTORIOUS....
Like it or Not, He was TO BE AND PROVED HE WAS NOT TO BE UN-NOTICED !!!

PERSONALLY , I met MICHAEL in the flesh and up close 4 TIMES..... Twice in the Eighties , Once in 1997 and in 2001.
This was an extremely Talented and extremely Shy ( MAN-CHILD ) who gave me the impression that he wouldn't or couldn't HARM a fly and surely not an innocent CHILD.
After all the BLA, BLA, and GOSSIP is done and we are Free to Believe What We Want To.....This is what I believe : Michael Jackson was a CHILD trapped inside a MAN 's BODY.
This is what can happen when a child has been thrown in the spotlight at the age of 5 YEARS OLD, and was exploited and made to WORK like an Adult MAN...
Just take a look at him closely, it is Sad But True, He Truly Had Some ISSUES !!!!!!

I am one of those who can say that I was always dubious about the accusations against Michael Jackson as a pedophile. Just because he paid-off his accuser does not make him guilty.

Now it seems that Jordan Chandler (the first accuser from 1993) has now admitted it was all a scam, that he lied at his father's behest to extort money.

It also turns out that Jackson never paid-off anyone: it was his insurance company over Jackson's objections.

And, there is the part where he was tried over the Arviso accusations and was found innocent in court ...

Peter King has spoken unjustly, should have kept his mouth shut on the topic.

Peter King actually came into a course of mine not long ago to speak to the class. Seemed like a pretty decent guy, and pretty reasonable, even if I don't agree with him on much.

Shame about his comments here, though. He's at least partially right about the media itself, but Jackson was never convicted of any crime, and the evidence was, at best, contradictory.
