Yahoo - The Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee voted 13-10 along party lines to pass a $600-billion measure that would expand coverage to nearly all Americans by requiring individuals get insurance and employers to contribute to the cost.

On this we can agree folks, get government out of health care.

This also works for marriage, banks, car industry, education, drugs, abortion, etc. Send it back to the states, let the experimental political labs that they represent find what works for the people.

You are a small business with six employees. The mandate in the health bill is that you must provide insurance if you have five or more employees. You don t have the profits to do that. What do you do? Get rid of two employees. Simple.

Watch unemployment go through the roof and this economy further plunge into the toilet. Small business is the engine of employment growth.

Has anyone noticed the stock market still tanking...no it s off the news...but it doesn t change the fact that our nation is spiraling downward. Wealth is being destroyed. Without wealth, there is no WELFARE.

The Road to Serfdom.

I truly fear how high health care costs will reach if this law is enacted. Demand will artificially surge, prices will skyrocket. The answer to bringing down health care costs, insurance costs, and reducing the power of HMO's is to get government out of health care, sever the connection between employer and health insurance, and watch the power of market competition work prices down to affordable levels.

If it's so great there why do so many Canadians come to the us for their care? Socialism is good at nothing. If it goes through and you have any elderly family and they end up in obama care the doctors and family decisions may be over ruled by the government. You are as goofy and illinformed as your hero.
