The CBO Might Be Wrong, But Orszag Might Not Be Right

Submitted by Luke Duke | 8 months ago

The Atlantic - group of health economists finally gave the president some good news with a letter arguing that we can bend the long-term costs of health care with Obama's proposed Independent Medicare Advisory Council (IMAC).

So far there has been nothing "independent" about the 40 plus Czar's Oboma has appointed, but I will hold my judgement until he actually selects and directs this so called "independent council". My guess is, since democrats have opposed any and all investigations into Medicare fraud, that this "council" will be tasked with offering suggestions on reducing cost (less services or lower amounts paid for services) that will not include the billions in fraud and government waste.
