Cool post. I don't think that poker requires any more luck than playing the stock market, and what's more american than that? I think the crackdown on internet poker sights could be attributed to politicians who recieve money from casinos (I'd be curious to see how many congress people from nevada support a ban on internet gambling). Many casinos had to fight really hard to get the right to build them in most states. I bet they're pretty ticked that these internet sites can opperate without the consent of individual states.
