When a "highly religious" couple make a baby it actually makes it full term. So it is simply logical that they would have higher birth rates than states where the baby doesn't make it full term.

probally more specifically in christian areas. i dont think that would include jewish or amish communties. teens like to rebel. thats why teens are more open to trying drugs, sexuality and adrenaline rushes more than adults

Ahhh but you would also think that since religion would be the backer to them making their moral decision, religion would also be the reason they would not be having any sexual relations until they were married. It's a catch 22 in my opinion.

Actually at abortion clinics, they do an ultrasound to see what the gestational age of fetus is before they do anything else. They also ask you if you want to see it. Abortion clinics do have an ethical responsibility to give the person as many means to back out of it as possible. You'd be amazed how many women walk in there with their minds dead set on having one, and then they walk out of the consultation room with pamphlets on adoption and the help they can receive from social services. Don't be so quick to judge.

And do you explain the high infant mortality rates with the same logic?
Well when more babies are born it's a normal occurrence. Unavoidable actually that they will have higher mortality rates than those where abortions abound.

I would think that one as small as a spider would avoid advocating the beating of anything.
Spiders dangle above bunny ears. To scare you when you're looking for Fudds. So you'll not go beating beating hearts.

You think that people who are planning on getting an abortion get ultrasounds?
The majority of Americans have always been against abortions (kinda like the civil rights movement at the time) luckily, the judicial branch doesn't need to listen to public opinion. Your idea of interesting demographics gives me a great big yawn.

I wish you hadn't brought this up. While we're talking about changing demographics, a recent Gallup Poll refelected more Americans agree with my views than yours, http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:4LF8vuO8Px8J:www.catholicnewsagency.com/new.php%3Fn%3D16052+more+americans+pro+life+ultrasound&cd=5&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us.
If you can look at a ultrasound BEFORE the third trimester and permit it anyway, something is wrong with you.
