Today marks the 222nd anniversary of the formation and signing of our Constitution. The United States Constitution is one of the greatest founding documents in history because it charted a bold new path in the realm of political theory.

Or,he might say,a blind and uninformed electorate has proven to be as dangerous to society as the gov. itself.The will of the people failed,not the constitution.Their will has been channeled to a narrow slice of lies and half truths so as to empower the elites who want them knowing what they decide they should know.If there was another failure,it would have to include freedom of the press.it has been used to freely misinform and lie to the American public with the blessing of our government.

I guess it's befitting that Sarah Palin would quote James Madison instead of Alexander Hamilton, whose vision has been realized in the virtually unrestricted, unrestrained government which has not lived by its own rules for a very long time. Madison, one of the principal architects of the Constitution, would never have imagined the size and scope of the Federal government today. If he were here, I honestly believe he would have said that the Constitution failed in its design to restrict the government to its enumerated powers.
