Insider says health companies can't be trusted!!!!!

ABC - A former insurance company insider told ABC7 Tuesday that insurance companies cannot be trusted to voluntarily go along with health care reform. Until just a couple of months ago Wendell Potter was making a big six figure salary, flying around in corporate jets and defending Cigna as the head of Cigna's corporate communications. Tuesday, he was honored at a conference for the Civil Justice Foundation.

Wow, I am a terrorist? WTF is that about?

That being said, the government that you are putting your trust in is the very reason that we are in this position. Who the hell do you think enables these greedy corporations to do the things they do to us? They campaign that they are going to "fix" the system and they get elected on false promises. Then they get into office and get lulled into the elitist DC machine and their values and campaign promises go into the crapper.

The government offers nothing more than a false sense of security. They will take over the entire system and people will still go bankrupt or worse, they will suffer or die because the correct treatment is no longer available in the US, or they will be forced to travel to another country to get their needs taken care of.

I have an example for you. Ted Kennedy (the father of hmo's) told us that this was the ultimate fix to affordable health care. And for the most part it was very much more affordible than the standard insurance. But that cost savings came at a cost. My mother was a member of the Kaiser HMO system. She had a very rare lung infection that could not be detected by the general physician. The problem there is, she could not see a specialist until all the recommended steps were taken. Finally she slipped into a coma. A month later they brought in a specialist who immediately diagnosed her and treated the infection. She was back to normal in a few days. A week later she died from a blood clot that found its way into her heart. It seems that being in the bed for a month due to lack of correct treatment killed her in the end.

your loaded question "do you really trust the government?" Is childish being that I constantly question the actions of House and Senate reps on this website

The elitist are in the insurance companies having them work for the corporations such as insurance companies and the people

The greedy elitist you refer to sit up in their corner office health insurance company and have people denied health needs for reasons of a pre-existing, experimental, non-lifethreatning, etc disease


No one should go bankrupt JUST BECAUSE they get sick and those that have health insurance shouldn't go bankrupt trying to pay to get better

Greedy and elitist politicians are the real road block to fixing this country, and the "hope and change" so many fools were expecting is turning out to be more of the same...
