I agree... the government should not be taking away votes. In the US we call voting an American, democratic right. What's democratic about removing a voice or a person's vote??

Well yes they are in prison but does that mean they lose the right to help vote on who will be in office next? I personally don't feel they should be left out. You never know maybe they are up for release next month and will have to put up with the next president for the next 4 years.
