This quote from dear old Bruce may help the decision makers who may consider him for a job:

"I keep a good suit and a dress shirt in the back of the car for interviews. I tell recruiters that I'm working."

What are you going to tell them now, dumb a*s, after they google your name and see your level of resourcefulness as you let things happen and sleep in your car with a suit all ready for that interview. Not exactly thinking outside the econo-box (Honda), now IS IT, BRUCE???

Jobs are out there. They may not be ideal, nor related to your career path in any way, but they are out there. So what if you have to flip burgers for a few months while you look for a new job. Living in your car because you feel bad for yourself is no excuse.

I've been there. I lost my job during the 2002 recession. I didn't go homeless because I sucked it up and worked three crap jobs until I found something better.
