AP - MEXICO CITY (AP) - Apolinario Chile Pixtun is tired of being bombarded with frantic questions about the Mayan calendar supposedly "running out" on Dec. 21, 2012. After all, it's not the end of the world.

No, but it means that someone's going to enjoy the end of time while sipping cognac. Wouldn't it be funny if that movie was disproportionately adevertised on news networks? I bet it's the same demographic that they're shooting for.

im part mayan and even i dont believe that. it ends in 2012 but i honestly doubt the world will end. and if it does, theirs not much we can do about it. making movies about it sure as hell wont stop it.

Mayas never meant the end of the world,... their Calendar was writen until 2112 modern archeologist , speculate that mayas meant that.
