Let me tell you something that you might not pick up from the lame street media, the dem's don't need one single republican to go along with them on ANYTHING they are pushing through right now. The republicans don't even have the ability to filibuster, they are completely out of power.
The reason nothing is getting done is because the president knows that if he sign's any of these bills, he will sink the democrat party for a long time. Nothing that he is proposing will do anything to fix any of the problems we are facing, they are intended to keep the people down under the thumb of ole Uncle Sam.

"Let me be clear..." My opinion of this president has been dropping since he took office, and it was low to begin with. He is an idealogue. I understand that he is now asking(demanding) the "moderate" Blue Dog Dems(who vote with the libs 88% of the time by the way) to stand up to any filibuster on healhcare to squash the 60 votes needed and then vote against the bill if they feel they need to for re-election purposes.
