World Net Daily - Russia is offering to modernize Cuba's deteriorating weapons systems – installed when the former Soviet Union was expanding worldwide – and it also wants to reactivate a sensitive electronic eavesdropping station on the nearby island at Lourdes, use Cuba as a base to refuel its bombers and a port to replenish supplies on its warships, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

Yea, this is what we can expect for appeasement. The Russians and Chinese are not interested in lowering their military strength, or their standard of living, not even for the chosen one.

It's time for him to be a man and realize that his chatter isn't going to keep us safe, he needs to get his testicles back from Michelle and get us back in the game.

Of course, this will never happen because the democrat party does not want the US to be a superpower any more.

I believe that when it comes to exerting and displaying the strength of the U.S. military Obama hass failed. We had a substansive position and defense system in Poland, in which we could ahve used toward our advantage and it would have shown Russia that we ARE ready to throw down if necessary. But, now, Obama is allowing the Russians to rearm Cuba so that they may harm us. I think that he should re-establish operations at our Polish base and transform Guantanamo into a base also, to show the Cubans that we are closer than you think and more ready to cause destruct from with in your country.

There may be no better time in the distant future to move in for a strike. obama has proven to be laden to his anti american base, and the russians know he will do nothing about it. They are probably thinking that they better beat china to the punch.

Actually IMHO, the handsome, popular, and "smart" JFK was comprehensively outsmarted by Castro -and the Russians- almost every time.

And they'll run circles around handsome, popular, and "smart" Obambi - he's weak and clueless, and they know it.
