Ron Paul: "Audit the Fed" Gets "Gutted"; Blame Mel Watt (D)

Submitted by ironhead | 3 weeks ago

Bloomberg - Representative Ron Paul, the Texas Republican who has called for an end to the Federal Reserve, said legislation he introduced to audit monetary policy has been “gutted” while moving toward a possible vote in the Democratic-controlled House. Paul, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, said Mel Watt, a Democrat from North Carolina, has eliminated “just about everything” while preparing the legislation for formal consideration.

I was gonna sy something but I was wrapped up in the possiblity of it happening as well.

Knowing you will not want to hear it but again PALIN was the only candidate capable of the "Hope & change" Obama discussed.

The others may have been "smarter" (?) but she is the only one with the will power and the ballsz to do it.

She was the only one of the four who was there for the American people. Even ROBOTS should of been able to see that.

We need a candidate that we can start promoting soon.

Barny Frank is a liberal progressive socialist. PERIOD> The only thing the guy has going for him is he is honest and does not hide it.

GOD Bless Ron Paul.

I just found out the NRSC is endorsing Mark Kirk a cap and trade traitor for Illinois US senator also antigun and voted to keep late term partial birth abortion legal. A solid RINO. It's looking like time to jump the Republican ship. I have written emails to the Republican National Committee twice without response. Looks like they don't care about conservatives.

Yea, I wish the Republicans would stand up for this issue and really pound it in, I guess they are just as much to blame. Three cheers to Ron Paul, I wish he would get some traction.

Even if there were to be an audit, who's terms would it really be on? Without a doubt, Ron Paul would have had very little with it, and I don't think I would trust any other body to do the heavy hitting. Kind of like the IAEA and their feeble inspections of Iraq, and N. Korea weapons and nuke programs...

Hmm, if I didn't know any better I'd say they have something to hide.

Just like obama, don't let the people see what can hurt you, even kids know that. Libs can't see those actions as hiding something so you have to wonder if they are less intelligent than a 5 year old.
