But IMHO you are right about Gingrich, et al... fine with me, they need to step aside and let conservatives take over- like Sarah Palin, for instance-

Regrettably, this mess in NY-23 does not say much for the political acumen of Newt Gingrich, who endorsed the Republican candidate over Hoffman, or Michael Steele, who spent $1 million in hard-earned RNC dollars on behalf of an unsuitable turncoat candidate. (I like both these men and am sorry to see it.) Wish we could get our money back from this woman somehow. It is downright galling. Fortunately, she is political toast herself.
