Conservatives Roll to VICTORY Conservatives Roll to VICTORY

Submitted by ReaganiteGOPer | 2 weeks ago

Reaganite - With both Virginia's and New Jersey's governor's mansions going to Republicans, and conservative Doug Hoffman's team now predicting an epic victory in House district NY-23, we have Barack Obama losing important races where he and the DNC pretty much gave it all they had- but independents swung-hard to the right, a hideous shock for the pompous Team Obama...

Of course I can say something, what kind of rebuttal is that?

I'm certain you'd like to think about all sorts of woulda-coulda-shoulda's but the facts remain that a strong Republican showing occured and the Independent voters are shifting conservative.

again like I said unless you live in one of the states that were contested you really can't say anything. If Bob Moran were on the ticket for VA he would've won. He's a staunchly moderate democrat that would've been able to garner all the votes. Just like how Warner and Kaine were. This debate has reached it's breaking point. Dems will keep saying it means nothing, Reps will keep saying it's a big change and Indies will be torn over what they think it means just like they can't pick a party they want the option to swing the other way when it suits them.

Electing 2 governors out of 2 open spots, in states that previously voted for Obama.

Here's some fancy math: that means 100% republican govenor sweep in states that broke democratic before.

Statistics are great aren't they?

I will admit this is not ground-shaking, but it is a start.

It shows him we are watching, and that he will be held accountable. I don't buy into the media. I come to conclusions on my own. The two gov. candidates that lost were backed by The One. The two that lost supported his policies...whoa, Deja-Vu. I feel like I've said this before.:) Anyway, I'm going to wait until the mid-terms. That'll really show the feelings of the nation. Hopefully the Statists in all parties will be kicked to the curb.

We see what "Hope" & "Change" has gotten us. 1 year and the people are tired of liberal "Hope & "Change"

You know why?

Wonder why the left is seen is as weak on defense and crime, inept at running the country??Need look no further then the left-wing stooges trying to play off last night as a victory. They constantly promote utter failure and have to defend themselves from truth. If this is their version of victory,we just as well bring the troops home right now. Now that I think about it,this is the first time I have heard anyone on the left even speak of victory. Figures,it would be for the party power and not the soldiers or country. Real patriots they are.

You can read into this what you want. If you think that last night was a running endorsement to your parties hijacking of the health care system, you might just want to rethink your definition of endorsement.

VA was a total rejection of the democrat machine. NJ was a rejection of one of the most corrupt governors that state has ever had (and that is saying alot).

As for MY jumping for joy, I am going to just wait and see. I think that at this point it is the Republicans to lose. I have just slightly more faith that they will seize the moment as the President will read between the lines of yesterdays election results and change the course of his path to destruction.

Yes you have really shown Obama a message by electing 2 only 2 republican governors into office. Oooooooo you are really watching now!!!! Please. You of all people shouldn't by into the media sensationalism but then again that's what the media is here for. If you had watched the gubantorial races closely or lived in one of the contested states like I do you would have noticed that Democrats were not supportive of Creigh Deeds in the 1st place. The only reason why he was able to pull of the upset is because the smart dems votes were split over Moran and McAuliffe. Personally in the primary's I voted for Moran. I campaigned for Moran and I was pretty pissed that the Creigh Deeds won and he's a loser (and that's not in my nice way of saying loser).

The point is you don't live in either one of the states where this so called victory was won. Both candidates ran smear campaigns and they looked to Obama to make them look like saints. How many times has Obama said he's not the messiah and cannot work miracles? I'm not a fan of my new governor but I'm happy we have someone in office that I know something about rather than a negative idiot that proved himself to be Creigh Deeds.

Ahh, but The One endorsed both of those governor candidates and the congressional candidate. They all support his policies. I'm not going to gloat, because frankly he is still in a position to deliver on his promise of "fundamentally changing America.". We have sent the message we are watching him, we have shown hm we will hold him accountable. But he can still get many of his smaller Marxist tidbits in.

2 Governor seats and this is a big win? I had more faith that the republicans would wait and see what happens during the mid-term elections before starting to gloat or make excuses. But then again this is a liberal using the word hope in conjunction with the republican party. How ironic.

Agreed with your concerns Chip-

But am hoping the debacle of giving a million bucks to Dede before she endorses the Democrat should have a major impact- heads need to roll at the RNC.

RINOs don't have much of a leg to stand on now that this example confirmed the worse of our fears, and outed herself as nothing like a Republican. IMO the GOP will fear of this Palin led movement now... they'd better.

I think VA and NJ are a resounding slam to the obama, so called, machine.

My feelings on the NY-23 are mixed. I think that the Hoffman should have won big being in a conservative district. What worries me is that the establishment republicans (mccain and co) will use this loss to say "I told you so" and try to show that we need to stay open minded to rhinos...

Either way,the message has been sent. The left is on the way out after only one year of the great unifier in the whitehouse. When 2010 comes around they will be sent packing in droves, they know it and are scared to death after tonight. Hoffman doing what he did on a third party ticket against only a dem is huge. The rep. supports the dem and if Hoffman makes it close or even wins, the writing is on the wall. Thank God Palin chased the fraud out and forced the end of her campaign before election night.

Can they still call those voters racist for not supporting obama's "mandate"?

No doubt someone will. obama will say it doesn't mean anything, his narcissism won't allow him to admit it. The DNC will be crying and sweating.
