Yahoo Finance - Burger King franchisees sued the hamburger co his week over its $1 double cheeseburger promotion, saying they're losing money on the deal & the company can't set maximum menu prices. That includes cost of $0.55 for the meat, bun, cheese & toppings. The rest covers expenses such as rent, royalties & worker wage - (they estimate that it is a $1.10 cost) Spokeswoman said the case is without merit particularly after an appeals case earlier this yr
