They Don’t Get It on Iran

Submitted by UK Fan | 4 months ago

Human Events - Creech Air Force Base, NV -- Thirty years ago this week a group of Iranian “students” shouting “death to America” stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, Iran, taking nearly 100 hostages -- among them 65 Americans. Though foreign national employees and some Americans were released within a few weeks, the remaining 52 were held for 444 days.

this is a great article... great... i do disagree with the timing of the release of the U.S. Embassy hostages, it was 30 minutes after reagan was sworn in... somebody point out whether or not letting afghanistan have stinger missile would they be better off being under the USSR... i tell you what though, now it may seem better but back in the day, there were only two superpowers and that's the USSR and the U.S.A.... the U.S. can't allow the U.S.S.R. to expand besides the fact they were a bigger threat than the afghan people were... iran was a threat but not afghanistan towards the U.S. during those times... and you're definitely right... there are some countries out there that just won't cooperate... right now, they're using obama's diplomatic scheme to buy themselves some more time until they have a working nuke... but then, it'll be too late... obama is just as bad if not worse than carter was... period...
