Take a look at this, Chopper: http://www.politics.com/video/EQxxmvVVnEI/ - You aren't the only one who thinks the backward B is awkward. ("Backward B is awkward": nice title for a poem!).

Chopper, keep in mind that some camera's reverse the picture. I know that my webcam and old digital camera used to reverse the photo. I would have to flip it once I put it on the computer or things would be backwards.

Crazy. I was thinking along the same lines, though not with that much analysis, but set it aside cuz the idea of a set-up is just too awful to contemplate. If so, its not just the perps who are broken, but this whole bloody system.

Oh, and she refused medical treatment. How many victims of a knife assault wouldn't want a doctor to look at their wounds?

There's something fishy about this story. First, the photo. The 'B' is backwards, almost as if it was done in a mirror. There's no sign of laceration either. If that was done with a knife, that was one dull blade. The unbroken outline shows no evidence of a struggle either. I can't imagine someone getting their face cut and not trying to turn away from the knife. It would be a natural response to do so yet there are no other wounds. If he immobilized her head while he cut her, where's the bruising? Did she just stand there and let him cut a design in her face?

Next: nothing on the bank surveillance camera, no witnesses even though it was relatively early (9pm), no one heard her scream, no one saw the perpetrator before or after.

Then there's the act itself. How many street thugs are going to rob someone at knifepoint then hang around to torture his victim in the middle of a public street? How many are going to say something lame like "Now, I'm going to teach you a lesson."?

Very suspicious.

That's messed up. I hope they catch the guy who committed this crime.
