Lex Lowther - In order to clear his grandfather's good name, the grandson of Josef Stalin is suing the radio station Ekho Moskvy for 10 million roubles’ ($326,900) compensation and an apology from Ekho Moskvy over comments made by presenter Matvey Ganapolsky on a program in October. Apparently he thinks that referring to a "leader" who sent the death squad after millions (in one form or another) doesn't make Stalin a murderer or.....

You are seeing something the history books omit. FDR was a closet communist.

This is so ridiculous that even in Russia they must be laughing. The later communist leaders knew he was a butcher and scrubbed him from the record.

Stalin was at least evil incarnate. Another thing Winston said, "If Hitler invaded Hell, I would make at least a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons."

Ohh yeah, and yet Religion is what causes mass murder.

Funny thing how FDR blackmailed the Brits for our aid when they were basically the only ones fighting Hitler but boy oh boy when Hitler turned on Stalin FDR got really really really pissed, in fact, so much so he sent the Soviets aid ILLEGALLY.

And don t get me started on Yalta. :-)

And please keep religious views out of the argument. Don t you know that when you ignore last centuries most famous atheist like Stalin and Mao that the Abrahamic based religions have killed almost as many human beings as 1/100 of that of Stalin alone sent to their deaths. :-)

Seriously though, I don't give a damn if the arse is related to him Stalin was a homicidal maniac who wanted any who would dare disagree with him shot. And while it's nice to see the stalin bloodline has settled for just charging ridiculous fees for disagreeing it's still crazy. And he can come and try to sue me, I'd have his arse laughed out of court.
