CNN - (CNN) -- Two men have been arrested in connection with an effigy of Sen. Barack Obama that was hung outside a building at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, police said Thursday.

They were arrested for disorderly conduct, burglary and theft by unlawful taking...not the Obama thingy. People have been burning/hanging/molesting effigies of Bush for eight years. It will be hilarious if doing the same for Obama becomes illegal.

I think anyone who has enough free time on his hands to violate an effigy is an idiot. They would be better off wearing a sandwich board with the words "I need attention. Can I have a hug."
