So... it is not discrimination if the people decided it? Does that justify slavery, sexism, racism thought history?

Think hard about the argument you are making. Just because the masses make a decision does not make it right.

I guarantee the framers of the constitution had no plans for the masses to vote rights away from others, or to decided who gets them when and where.

I guarantee the framers of the constitution had no plans for the nation to fall victim to a tyranny of the majority. Something many of them warned against and the very reason they insisted on a Republic as our form of governance.

Don't pull the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness card on this one. Please that is like saying they should make all drugs legal because a small portion of society thinks it should be and it is discriminatory towards them to make it illegal.

Guarantee the framers of the constitution had no plans for it to be interpreted that way.

This country is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy despite what the politicians try to make you believe. You can vote on most things, but items that affect peoples life, liberty and pursuit of happiness should never be up for "popular" vote.
