San Fransisco Gate - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger called Thursday for the Legislature to convene a special session to approve his plan to overcome the state's projected $11.2 billion revenue shortfall by raising billions of dollars in new taxes and making major spending cuts.

@ Lady Liberty: Raising taxes will never be one of them.
No Country or State for that matter has taxed itself into prosperity. People are really hurting, foreclosures, credit card debt, next car repossessions. Arnold will become the exterminator as he destroys CA. Ironically, next to FICA an increased sales tax is the most regressive on the poor and very poor, Arnold is a RINO
