Hey genius, I never said we were. Neither is Iran.

We, however, have the capacity to invade Iran; Iran doesn't have the capacity to invade the United States. If you can't see the disparity between the military power of the U.S. and Iran, then I'm sorry, you've lost the plot.

The temerity here is astonishing. The U.S. government is warning Russia because they are selling defense missiles to Iran??

Our government currently has troops in over 100 countries, including over 150,000 in two of Iran's neighbors. We have a nuclear arsenal that overshadows that of any other nation. President Bush and P.-elect Obama have been posturing against Iran for well over a year.

Iran wants to purchase some surface-to-air missiles from Russia, and now we are warning the Russians, too?

I was not the best comparison. The comparison was that both are selling something which will potentialy hurt someone else in order to gain a profit regardless of consequence.
