There you go. The Ugly American in a nutshell. He does mean you disrespect.

But it's increasingly a craggy, wrinkled voice from a defensive, fearful and isolated past. From dyspeptic people who have lost life's battles many more times than they have won, but cling to their keyboards.

Today the overwhelming majority of us, of all political stripes, are celebrating America the Beautiful. We call it patriotism.
