Washington Post - Barack Obama took the oath of office today as the 44th president of the United States and pledged to "begin again the work of remaking America."

Addressing a huge throng estimated at more than 2 million people on the capital's Mall and millions of others watching on television, Obama recognized the multiple crises now afflicting the nation at a time of war abroad and economic turmoil at home. But he sought to rally Americans to a "new era of responsibility" and the promise of a brighter future.

Right now our President is more of a celebrity than a president. When all of the groups(minoritys,gays,illegal alians,women,peaceniks)see that very little will change under Obama they will all turn on him. I almost feel sorry for him because his Fall from grace will be HISTORIC. I will root for Obama for the good of the USA, but this guy has been set up by his own gushing supporters to crash and burn. Did anyone else notice that he said many things Bush has said over the last couple years,some comments word for word. There will also be a huge backlash from the Blackness of the swearing in.

You know what's really funny is that throughout the entire campaign, all of the Liberal media poured B.S. into our heads by saying, "It's not about race... It's not about race! It's about [insert ambiguous issue here...]..."

Well, today, that's all I heard from the same Liberal Media: "...Inaugurated today as our nation's first African-American President... Our nation's first Black President took the oath of office today..." (he he... he couldn't even repeat it correctly...)

Not about race???

Libs are so easy to see through...

When Bush was elected and reelected the network news showed person after person who were unhappy he was elected. Nary one was shown tonight that wasn't elated he was elected. I can't be the only person who thinks he is not going to be good for our country and is not legally entitled to be president. Just another instance of the liberal media.
