Newsday - The latest poll shows Attorney General Andrew Cuomo and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani within striking distance of Gov. David Paterson in matchups for the 2010 race for governor.

Cuomo and Rudy both have high favors in the state, come election in 2010... the Senate seat and Governor seat will be open. Cuomo was the peoples favored choice for the senate, maybe he will run and get that in 2010 - leaving Rudy the Gov. seat. Who knows... but the option for them both to move up appears to be present in 2010.
