I think 1000 soldiers are more than enough. Why not to 500 soldiers. After all, Obama is trying to wage war against most of the Middle Eastern people, so why not conserve?

You're back to Democrat constraints.

Get the southwestern gator, whatever that may be. Blame him.

Place Ma dueces (50 cal. Machine gun, M-2)every so often along the border and let it loose on some illegal crossers. The illegals trying to cross would decrease to near 0.

Like empty clips and take fire before returning.

Yes, empty clips, or asking permission from the target before firing, if they're using real bullets.

If I was in charge, I'd have the Battle of New Orleans reenacted, with reasonable substitute for the gator.

From what I hear, the southern border could use some troops. But I'd be concerned that Democrats in control wouldn't let them do anything constructive.

Okay, I think it is time to retire the term "Boots On the Ground." you mean more soldiers..no s**t man. While we are at it, how about doing away with the term "Shovel Ready." Congress is already too full of shoveled s**t right now for them to be using any terminology that is less than literal.

Lastly, no more football references from Congress or the White House or general sports analogies. Those make me want to punch myself in the specials.
