You know amnestmyazz , I post my thoughts here on this issue, but I,m not at all convinced and still searching....I have more questions then answers.... But I dare to care about an issue that many people would perfer to leave along.... MAYBE It is like you said ( it,s about personal freedom. Everyone straight or gay, has a stake in that conversation ) But I,m not afraid to think out loud on an issue that is controversial, wrong or right / good or bad, / normal or abnormal / abominable or fabulous....MAYBE I will never feel comfortable with this issue... BUT WHO CARE???

No fools paradise here. I do not care what anyone does with their bodies. You're the one that asked for an answer to your question. I'm not part of the gay community you rail about. I do however live in the same country where they live. If the government starts meddling in their affairs, what's next? No issue is exempt. The issue is not about any sexual act. It's about personal freedom. Everyone, straight or gay, has a stake in that conversation.

SORRY, but the moment in my life when I chose my sexuality is my personal business and being GAY is the personal business of gays, but the gay community wants the entire world involded in thier sex thing and sex life.... They want to be normal but this is a perversion, a freak of nature and nature,s laws... and man made laws cannot compete or change nature,s laws, they can only deform them...But nature will win in the end, because she is stronger, wiser, and she is ruler of this universe, and we will have to respect her one day sooner or later, because she is mother earth and she holds our life line,, and when two same sex marriages can produce precious life together in thier wombs or what ever in a natural way, the way nature intended and designed it to be .. THEN THAT WII BE THE BLESSED DAY that I will personally honor and respect this kind of marriage,,, until then the Hell with it... Be Freaky, Be Groovy,GAYS , Be what ever you like, learn to live with this hadicapped situation and be happy !! know that nature makes freaks and there,s not much we can do about it.... Your response is that homosexuals used to stay in the closet but now they don't care what anyone says and that is the problem? Someone who is gay doesn't become gay bcause they come out of the closet. They come out of the closet because they are already gay. Furthermore the gay community could promote their lifestyle in any manner they saw fit. It would not turn someone gay. What moment in your life did you choose your sexuality?

Whoa. Just because something is not explicitly spelled out in the constitution, does not mean it isn't a right. Our rights do not come from the constitution, they come from nature. Each human being has the ability to control his/her body and owns his/her body. That's why the Declaration of Independence says "among these are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness (read property)" and defines them as "inalienable."
The decision to marry is fully within one's right to religion or one's liberty. This doesn't come from government or the constitution. The ban on whom someone can marry (consensually, adults) is unconstitutional because it violates the right to liberty, freedom of choice, also of religion. Essentially, the state should have no business regulating marriage (provided they are consenting adults) in the first place.

You can't force another person to marry you, and you can't force a priest to preside over your wedding.
This is just another example of the government meddling with something it should have left alone in the first place.

When one considers all the natural ways nature and man eliminates people, ( wars , diseases of all kind, aids included etc. drugs , everyday violence from man and nature,s catastrophes of all sorts etc. etc. ) we are moving into an era where we are giving the next generation the idea that this is the way to go, man marry man or man marry women !!! Old FASHIONED Man/Women relation are going strong you say, NOT REALLY .50 PERCENT of all marriages end in divorce!! GAYS have been around since only GOD KNOWS and most of them stayed in the closet and many married and had children and it was just fine and O.K. What a bizarre statement. Have you not heard the phrase "sex sells?" Ever seen a commercial for Axe deodorant? A Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue? A tv show where a well-endowed woman enters to a cheering audience? People may not scream "I'm heterosexual" because hey, actions and culture speak louder than words?

They put sex all over tv and in the movies. It's hard to keep my eyes from buldging out when I try not to look at all the sexy things people are doing even at bus stops. And when I do manage to keep my eyes in, then I have to hear about it everywhere. Sex this, sex that. Do you ever hear people talking about being heterosexual? I don't either but at least they're keeping that private.

Here is an example of all men and women who engage in a marriage are not created equal.... Meaning that , a classic couple made up of two people ( man and woman ) will have NATURE as their friend, making it possible to reproduce children, that will grow into other men and women it is NATURE,S WAY TO ASSURE the survival of MANKIND.... But a man who marry a man and a women who marry a women will naturally reproduce what ??? Is this not a perversion of some sort ??? WHAT will this world and THE DIVINE NATURE come to in the END ???
