Freakin amazing! Why the hell dont they prosecute Slobbering Barney or Princess Nancy or that ding bat Reid? Those are the ones that should be going before a jury....not those that did what they thought was right for protection of US

Yea, President Bush never mentioned anything that he "inherited" from the previous 2 terms of the Clintons. Same as Reagan. We never heard Reagan talk about the crap that was happening during the Clinton years. It just goes to show you that liberals can't have the light shining on them. They need to create these storms to redirect focus on any one but them. Too bad the media is in their court or we might get some new strength in this country!

They can go right ahead, I will enjoy using their precedents against them when they leave office. Tee Hee Hee. Think about the fun we had with the Independent Counsel in the Clinton years.

Any president ought be both gentleman and statesman. The things the former president hasn't said contrast starkly with former president Carter's criticisms.
What is disturbing is the reason for pursuing prosecution.

Did any one notice that the only gentleman
and the only statesman here is the
former President George Bush?
He has refrained from saying anything derogatory
about the BHO administration even when he had good
reason to do so in order THAT THERE WOULD BE
A PEACEFUL TRANSFER OF POWER.
There seems to be an irrational hate
syndrome in America ... a sickness AND
IT IS DESTROYING OUR ADMINISTRATIVE
TRANSFER PROCESS.
This is evil and anything but civil and it could
damage the peaceful transfer of power in the
future. Will America become like third world
countries in the future ... kill everyone in office
to gain office?
God forbid.

Not to mention that obama has just handed the al qaeda and every other terrorist organization great recruiting material. They now know that not only will they not get any physical injury if they are caught, they most likely will end up in the US for future campaigns.

Separation of powers for one thing. This is a witch hunt that is being handed to the AG by the president who has to make his voter feel warm and fuzzy. They will not feel that until Bush is hung.
Pre obama, these tactics were not classified as torture. They now are, and obama is trying to get the legal advisers of the Bush Administration brought up on charges of "advising torture". Just because obama and the goons who got him elected THINK that they should have been classified as torture 10 years ago, means nothing. Not only that, Nancy Pelosi and Jay Rockefeller were briefed on every one of these techniques since 2002 and approved of them.
This is an attempt to not only change the policy of a previous administration that prevented this country from being attacked since 9/11, it is an attempt to bring them up on criminal charges for those policies. This is very bad precedent for this and future administrations, but it is just bad for the country.

Just curious.... how is it unconstitutional in your view for the Attorney General to prosecute based on the law? That is kind of his job.
In my opinion... the administration will leave the option open for the next 4 or 8 years... but never act. That way then can say they are looking into it without ever doing anything.
Even if they did do something though... it would likely go nowhere and never really see a courtroom.

Not only is this unconstitutional, it is a bull s**t tactic to get the moveon.org crowd happy, and keep our eye off of what obama is doing to this country!
Not only that, he is making it less appetizing for our CIA and FBI officials to really do what it takes to crack down on the terrorist network who only goal is to kill every one of us.
When the next attack happens to this country, obama will have the blood of all those innocent victims, all over his sleezy hands.
