John Tanner (D-Tenn.), another retiring Democrat, has been promised an appointment as U.S. Ambassador to NATO in exchange for his vote. It will be interesting to note any job announcements from this Tennessee duo post-House retirement.  Both voted against passage of the House bill back in November.”

Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) is the sponsor of the Public Lands Service Corps Act (H.R. 1612). The bill has languished without action for months, but today it will be considered by the House Rules Committee and scheduled for a vote on the House floor this week.

Grijalva’s bill was not originally on the schedule for this week when it was released by Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) last Friday. However, last night the bill appeared on the schedule for the House Rules Committee, which will report out a rule for the bill and send it to the House floor.

If you were outraged by the backroom deals included in the previous versions of the Democrats’ government takeover of healthcare, you better sit down because the deals are back. Code Red found that many of those deals are still included in the latest machination of Obama and Pelosi’s healthcare bill.

The special deals can be discovered by looking at what is not discussed in the Democrats’ “new” bill, which for the sake of House procedure is called “an amendment in the nature of a substitute.” The bill will make changes to the bill passed by the Senate in December. Whatever the Democrats’ “new” bill doesn’t change will become law.

Remember the “Louisiana Purchase”? It’s still in there, because the Democrats’ “new” bill doesn’t remove Section 2006 of HR 3590, the Senate-passed healthcare-takeover bill. You can read more about the “Louisiana Purchase” here.

  Personhood is always redefined to exclude the intended victim class. In 1935, the Nuremberg Laws codified the exclusion of Jews from German society. Resources are inadequate to care for intended victim class if they are allowed to live. The Nazis justified killing "useless eaters" based on the fact that they were using up resources needed by the German people. Pro-slavery advocates justified the continuation of slavery because they said the slaves, if emancipated, could not take care of themselves and would be a drain on society's resources. Pro-abortion advocates attempt to justify abortion by stating that there are inadequate resources to care for all unwanted babies if they are not killed by abortion.

Questions for Patriot Watch

Hi Patriot Watch, I would like to debate you on Glenn Beck. I will answer your questions if you will answer some of mine. This is a sincere debate that I think we can have without all the hate from liberals. Ok here goes.

First let me tell you I was fooled by Beck, and if you are truthful with yourself I believe you will see how transparent he really is. It really does not matter if you believe in 911 truth or not- see if you follow me.

Beck ALWAYS say question with boldness.  Right?

Beck says the government is intentionally collapsing the economy, but the government says we are in recovery. Right?

Beck says Obama has surrounded himself with Marxist people, but the Gov. says it has not. Right?

Beck says Obama wants to socialize the health care system, but the government says it is not. Right?

Beck says ObamaCare will ration health care, Obama says it won't. Right?

Beck says global warming is a fraud, the gov. says debate is over. Right?

Beck says he is against the bailout/Tarp after he said it was needed. Right?

Beck says taxes are out of control, then says we need a VAT tax. Right?

So Mr. Beck has said the government is not telling us the truth on many issues. Right?

But for some strange reason we must accept the governments version of 911 no questions asked, and if you ask questions you are a radical loon who wants to kill the president. six of the ten 9/11 Commissioners now doubt the veracity of the official government story.

Why does Beck blindly believe the governments version of 911 but does not on any of the other issues? It is fine if he believes the 911 gov version, but he calls people who do have questions crazy. WHY? Question with boldness- Question without fear- unless you are questioning the government right?

Mr. Beck says you are a crazy if you think the gov. of the USA would ever kill American citizens. I ask you this- Explain Northwood’s Operation, and just look at history- nations throughout history have killed millions and millions of their own people. Why would you with blind faith think the USA would not EVER follow that same path?

Beck says Builderberg group is a conspiracy theory- Call it what you want but it is real, do the research don't take my word.

Now I have a challenge for you on your statement of Beck is the only place to get the truth. Yes Beck does have many issues he is truthful on, that is how the deception works, that is how I was sucked in. Here is my challenge for you. With an open mind and critical thinking and research listen for 1 week to the Alex Jones show. You can listen online or there is a free podcast, or a free iPod or iphone app on iTunes. Listen to Alex verify what he says on your own. Do not blindly follow or believe anyone. I will tell you when I first started listening to Alex I was a huge Beck fan and had a hard time with the things Alex was saying about Beck, and then I started doing research on what Alex was saying. Alex does not talk about theory he has physical proof on each issue.

ATF Says No More Residency Checks2005/09/10

by Dave WorkmanSenior Editorgunweek.com The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) will no longer engage in “residency checks” of gun show patrons after an operation in Richmond, VA, ignited outrage among gunowners nationwide who branded it a “rogue operation” and suggested it was done to intimidate and harass show patrons. A “joint operation” involving ATF agents, the Virginia State Police (VSP) and officers from the Henrico County Police Department targeted gun buyers at the Aug. 13-14 Richmond gun show. Gun Week has also confirmed that a Richmond Police Department lieutenant was present. The operation was conducted by a joint task force. During the event, held at the Richmond International Raceway and Fairground complex, police officers were dispatched to the homes of persons who bought a gun at the show. Apparently unbeknownst to dealers at the show, or the show promoters, they quizzed members of gun buyers’ families about the purchases. Gun Week learned of at least one “knock and talk” that occurred while the transaction was still in progress at the show. A spokeswoman for ATF called it “an isolated incident” and said that the agency has “evaluated our position and decided not to participate in residency checks in Richmond at this time.” Yet Sheree Mixell, chief of the ATF’s Office of Public Affairs in Washington, DC, insisted to Gun Week, “There is no Privacy Act violation, there are no Fourth Amendment issues. (This was) totally within the parameters of the law.” That assertion is in dispute. Names and addresses of gun buyers were apparently taken from federal Forms 4473 and passed along to the local police, who dispatched officers to conduct the residency checks. Mixell confirmed that the task force, “in order to verify legality of firearms purchases, did residence checks of every purchaser.” This raised concerns with the show operators and the firearms community that it was an illegal use of Form 4473 information. “In terms of specifics,” Mixell said, “this is part of an on-going investigation. . . . The actions that occurred at the August gun show are an isolated incident.” “This was not an on-going investigation,” countered Joe Waldron, executive director of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, a national grassroots gun rights organization. “This was a fishing expedition.” When Gun Week contacted Henrico County police and the Richmond ATF office, officials with both agencies refused to discuss the operation. An officer with the Richmond Police Department insisted officers from that agency were not involved, yet other sources contacted by Gun Week assert they were. He later confirmed the presence of a Richmond lieutenant. Henrico County Police Lt. Doug Perry told Gun Week that officers from his agency were “assisting ATF with background checks through the Virginia State Police.” Beyond that, he referred all inquiries to ATF, as did a spokeswoman for the VSP. “It’s an operational thing,” Perry stated. “We’re not going to comment (on) anything further.” Gun Week was stunned by the reception at the Richmond ATF office. Our first call was greeted by a male who refused to identify himself, laughed and said “I know who you are,” and finally hung up the telephone. Gun Week had immediately identified itself when he answered. A second call was answered by a female, who also laughed after we identified ourselves. Only after Gun Week then demanded to speak to her supervisor were we connected with Scott Sammis, who identified himself as the special agent in charge. Responding to Gun Week’s request for information about the weekend gun show operation, Sammis said, “I don’t think I can speak to it.” He said no information would be given without a Freedom of Information request, and then suggested Gun Week contact ATF in Washington, DC. He added that the first “employee” who answered the telephone apparently believed he was speaking to someone else, and thought it was a joke. Sammis said the unidentified employee apologized for his telephone conduct. Advised of the telephone exchange, Mixell also apologized to Gun Week. From all indications, it appears ATF headquarters in Washington was not aware of the Richmond operation until after it happened, and the show operators complained. Father,I stand before you now lifting up the people you have placed on my heart that I know personally and from this forum, who do not yet know You.You made us for Yourself, and we are only here because of Your choice to give us life. You then sent Your Son to die for us because we have lost our way, and how that must grieve You to see us stumbling around in the darkness, far away from You.I pray for those who remain blind, who come here seeking answers, and for those who are in our families and homes and work places, that You would remove the blinders of the enemy from their minds so that they can think clearly. I pray that You would dismantle their thought processes through Your truth. I ask that You would even now, take the seeds we have sown, here and wherever else You placed us, and that You would send others to water them, and that You would sovereignly give the increase until they bear the fruit You desire. I pray to the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers to help bring them in, as Jesus has commanded. Make me Your laborer. Troops heading to California.

Troops at CFB Petawawa are doing a little California dreamin' these days as they prepare for Exercise Maple Guardian.

The exercise, which will involve about 3,700 troops, will begin in early January at Fort Irwin California in the Mojave Desert.

Before those troops arrive, their equipment must be sent and that is precisely what is taking place at Base Petawawa right now.

Over an 11 day period that began on Nov. 16, around 700 military vehicles will be loaded onto rail cars on a Canadian Pacific spur at the base.

A total of four trains will then haul the vehicles approximately 4,800 kilometres to California.

Warrant Officer Sherri Forward of 2 Area Support Group headquarters, said a lot of planning goes into a move of this scale.

"I was called off leave in April and we started planning in May," she said. "This took roughly three months to plan."

A 'rail party' consisting primarily of soldiers from 3 Royal Canadian Regiment will head down to California to take the vehicles back off the rail cars while a maintenance team will head down prior to the exercise to ensure that the vehicles are ready to go.

Lieut. Dennis Power, brigade public affairs officer, said when the troops arrive to begin the exercise all they will have to do is 'turn the key.'

The vehicles being shipped include light-armoured vehicles (LAVs), light-utility vehicles, Bisons, trucks, among others.

The rail party working to load them in Petawawa expected to load about 67 vehicles on Thursday.

Task Force 1-10 stood up in September 2009 and is currently scheduled to deploy in early 2010. Throughout the fall, company-level exercises and low-level training have been held in Petawawa.

The only large-level exercise being conducted for this deployment is the exercise at Fort Irwin.

According to the military, the dessert environment around at Fort Irwin is similar to Afghanistan.

The exercise is expected to last about seven weeks during the months of January and February 2010. Currently it is scheduled for Jan. 4 to Feb. 20. The troops will then return to Petawawa in late February for leave and other additional training prior to the deployment to Afghanistan.

The VIP event costs DKK 5,999 and includes drinks and a light snack.”

Wait, what? How much is that in American dollars? The currency conversion says it all, too: 5,999 Danish kroners is equivalent to $1,209.

“If you do not want to spend that much money, but still want to hear Al Gore speak about his latest book about climate challenges, you can purchase general tickets, ranging in price from DKK 199-1,499 depending on where in the room you want to sit,” the practical Danes advise. “There will be large screens, so that everyone will get a good view.”

Yah, such a deal.
