Yes, it is. Politics here means the State takes care of everyone, the Legislators know better than the people who don't need to take the time to be informed, and the people keep voting for their cousins and neighbors.

When I first heard about the conversion I thought about the writing on the wall in Animal Farm.

Hawaii was the first to convert, January 15, Government over the people, making it sound nice.
