You two gentlemen crack me up with your responces--you have not heard or listened to a word I have said. Why dont you go back and read all the remarks that you have said, since you are so good at reading and quoting everyone else! My father taught me to respect everyone even if they dont agree with or want to agree with, no matter if they were Black or White. Seems like you get a kick out of belitting people no matter what they say or think. You only like guys like yourselves thats as far as you can see. My whole Family is (was) in the Military and some are now in Africa trying to bring some Happiness to those who never and will never have a chance to have even a fraction of what We AMERICANS HAVE. I have heard much, seen much and been through much!! I grew up during WW11--my parents taught us kids their values and also not to be prejustice against our neighbors. These are the same Values that have taught my children and they in turn have taught my 7 Grandchildren!!!Are ya shocked yet?? You compliment me by thinking that I am young and havent lived in the Real World yet. I was not refering at any time about your ideas or feelings!! Ya, I am Nuts or lets just say Passionate about hoping that our country will somehow turn around, but thats just dreaming, right, you just let History repeat itself and we will just go on fighting, never getting anything done and screaming all the whole time. Obama is not the Messiah you must be kidding to even say that in jest. We the people of America need, want and are praying that something. even just one thing may be accomplished to better our Country in the next four yrs..I could not vote for JFK was almost eighteen but I admired him so much for his Passion. I thought to myself at that time how wonderful to feel so intensely about anything. My parents were very excited and also my neighbors. Then I voted for Nixon. I liked him because he was Ikes VP so I thought he would be good too. What a disaster. Then I voted for Ford and he was a decent man but not very Passionate. I stopped voting until Reagan. Now that was a Great Choice. He had the courage of his convictions and was not afraid to keep it silent from anyone. You should go to the Reagan Library if you ever have the chance to come to Calif. Im sure you will be impressed, I was and so was my Brother (A Colonel at the time.) I once heard that one can always know if a past President was good by the number of people who mourned and loved him. And so, I have not voted until Nov 4, 2008!!! And that is why I am expressing so much Passion. I didnt just jump right on the bandwagon like you may think. I listened to both sides and weighed everything that was proposed, I guess I got Faith at some point in time and my gut told me Obama was the right man for the right season. That is it in a nutshell, period. I dont have any hidden explanations, only what I think is the right thing to do. Only the strong man will survive amist all the scandals and evils of this world. I say let us just give the man a fighting chance. And thank you in advance for your ear!! Show less

Nobody else will stand up because they are all clueless as to why they voted for him. They will tell you CHANGE. What CHANGE they have no idea. Obama doesn't know how are they supposed to know?

His whole cabinet is made up of Clinton rejects except Raines who helped with the addition of other liberals to bring our economy down with mortgages for people who couldn't afford it.

My husband has no interest in politics never has. He just votes for the person he thinks is going to help the country in the current condition of affairs. He thinks its a waste of time to even debate politics. Says people get nothing accomplished by getting angry with other, which is exactly what happens every time our families debate this.. I never wanted anything to do with that til now..I think now is the time for everyone, no matter who they voted for, to take serious interest in the state of current affairs. Are you really serious to think that everyone who voted for Obama is a baby-killing, socialist moron?? That we love the horrible state of affairs and all the blood that is spilled every day. Then you have no conception as to why I, or anybody else voted for the man...I sure wish those of you who voted for the man would stand up to the plate and defend him and voice your opinions as to why you did it, so these people can understand and GET it!!!!!!

THEN I STARTED LISENING TO WHAT OBAMA HAD TO SAY ABOUT EVERYTHING. To make a long story short,I was so excited on NOV 3 that I could't sleep,had to rush to the poll and vote. My husband thinks I'm nuts

This was written by an admitted liberal reporter for the NY Times ... who examined the statistics every which way because he couldn't believe bleeding heart liberals are in fact that stingy ... a lot of statistics were searched from a lot of sources to confirm that fact.

Know what he found out? Conservatives give up to twice as much as stingy liberals in BOTH money and volunteerism. This was measured against family size and income so...no one is able to say rich Republicans find it easy to give.

Giving I submit is from the HEART ... a big generous one. And lip service is...well lip service and hypocrisy.

Libs seem to be content to just let the government do all the charitable giving for them of BOTH time and money ... but when it comes to personal giving and personal self sacrifice ... they are happy to say just let the conservatives do it.

My compliments to that author for being honest. Maybe a few bleeding hearts will "bleed" a little from their pocket books but even better from their veins (give more blood), and also contribute a portion of

What a wimpy response. "Thank you for reinforcing my convictions that I voted for the RIGHT PERSON!!!" If you had any convictions what so ever they wouldn't need to be reinforced. As to your comment,"MY answer to the ones who really believe that we are going to have a miserable SOCIALIST USA should move out of COUNTRY and return in 4 yrs, by then maybe they will change their tune!!" If you had a clue as to how politics and economics are intertwined you would not make such a statement. If we grow ourselves out of the current recession it won't be because of anything that Obama planned when he hoodwinked ignorant people like yourselves to vote for him, it will be because he followed sound economic principles that George W. Bush failed to do his last term, with the Grace of God and a hell of a lot of work. I believe in human nature of the politician, he will do what's right to get reelected.
