Ironic that most that I've seen wearing these shirts in college are people majoring in Fine Arts or some other field that falls under the swath of people Guevara had rounded up and summarily executed.

I don't think half the people wearing Che Guevara shirts have a clue, anyways. :\
That is true, I know many people who could not even tell me who the man on their shirt was in college. Some said it was just a created character.. others guessed randomly... a few thought he was a Soviet, others thought he was from Africa...
They just knew it was a fad at the time and bought shirts which his face on them from the local mall.
