Sarah Palin's Parallel Universe
Obama-hater proves, incredibly, that she sounds like a defensive ditz even when interviewed for a "documentary" trying its best to defend her.

"Parallel Universe" is not an expression of bias at all.
It is an expression of my opinion of her views.
But if you'd like to consider me a source of news, and hence capable of bias, that would be fine. A compliment even. And subscription-free, though donations would be accepted.
I never said she's a "joke." Her views are frightening and retrograde, not funny.
No at all.
But! Luckily! Palin in 2012 contracts (as GOP nominee) are currently trading at only 12 cents on the dollar.
That means that if you have the courage of your convictions (and I presume you do, out of simple respect) you may invest just $100 tonight and by June of 2012 that will become over $800.
That's an astronomical return, suggesting you would be foolish to invest just $100 on such a sure thing.
Me, I think there are some things I don't (and even *can't*) actually know, though I may have opinions on them. So for me it would really be a gamble to try to make money on that sort of thing.
And in any event I'm a coward, right?
But not you. Just go ahead and take everybody else's money.
Simple.

Parallel Universe? No bias there, huh?
It is GLARINGLY obvious that there's strategy of preemption afoot, and MSM, online media, bloggers, and message-board assasins are all going after Governor Palin in a sustained effort, and mysterious "leaks" and false rumors persist.
Palin is right to finally set the record straight when this hack Katie Couric edits tapes to make Palin appear foolish, asks loaded questions, and even was coached by DNC operatives prior to the Palin interview. She's supposed to be an impartial journalist, the Founding Fathers are spinning in their graves @ 5000rpm.
The Democrats are plenty afraid of Sarah Palin coming back at them in 2012 with a dynamic and complementary VP nominee like Bobby Jindal. But they are right about one thing: they have good reason to fear Gov Palin.
Sarah Palin consistently enjoys an 80+% approval rating as governor... are all those people idiots?
Unlike McCain, Obama, and Biden, she has actually executive experience, and manages an $11B budget, currently in surplus.
Alaska was a pretty corrupt system until she stepped in. Her reforms took on entrenched politicians (inc. Republicans), a mafioso-style union boss, and Big Oil.
Wouldn't it have been nice if Obama had been principled and brave enough to confront the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine? Or shady political operators like Tony Rezko? Blago? (it's on the tapes) Racist preachers? Instead of doing business with every last one of them?
The DNC's friends will be discrediting Palin and claiming condescendingly that she is a "joke" for the next couple years- precisely because they know the opposite to be true. She has been highly-successful in life while ignoring the left-wing feminist model... this helps to explain the extra dose of venom in these attacks, as "real" feminist are supposed to be unattractive, wear short hair, and live in the East Village.
Go get 'em, Sarah... these cowards are already shakin in their boots, and when Obamamania implodes, the country will swing back to the right, and hard... probably by 2010, already.

Great Find MissGradenko!!! The people who think that she is a ditz choose to remain ill-informed on issues and actually never heard here speak...they have only heard small excerpts or Q and A removed from context. So, of course, now it is okay to place her in a nice light since she has lost, just like they did with Ron Paul - bad light/crazy man until he dropped out of the primaries.

Wait. That was over the line.
She's not a "ditz," but just imo not informed or experienced to the level expected of a national leader. I tried to collapse that thought into one word and badly missed the mark. Kelly Bundy is a ditz, not the Governor.
And, if asked directly, I would likely agree that although we share few views in common, she's probably not a bad sort if you get to know her.
Like where my views of Hillary Clinton have evolved to this point, but only different.

Virtually all she says is an echo of her worst moments, right down to telling us she reads “newspapers and publications.”
This is mostly sad spin by someone I might have thought could spin much better.
But some things just defy spin. Her family was relevant because she defined herself by family values. For obvious reasons. Process of elimination.
As if Obie's family – right down to dear Aunt Zeituni - wasn't under the microscope too. It’s just that the cells weren’t so malignant. We still don’t know if Track joined the military to avoid jail for cutting the brake lines on school buses.
School buses. If he weren’t innocent until proved guilty (and I’m not advocating that juvenile crime records be opened) that could sound really, really bad.
