True about listening to context and tone. I did not hear a racist tone in this one. But if I were of Pakistani origin, would those words perhaps bring back bad memories about some other events?

I was surprised to hear that Paki and raghead are terms considered derogatory or expressions of low opinions. I think every nationals have a term that they do not like being applied to them, and thus considered offensive. But I think something else is at work here. If these words were uttered by any other person, would it have made the news?

I don't get it. Are the words paki and raghead somehow threatening, or otherwise harmful? If considered derogatory, someone needs to listen to context and tone.

Whatever happened to, "Sticks and stones may break bones my bones, but words will never hurt me"? Is that politically incorrect, too?
