We the people...
Wake up America! The Democracy that we once enjoyed is trickling away. The very people that were elected to represent "We The People" are turning their backs on us in a gross negligence of their sworn duty. This should be seen by every man woman and child.

I wonder if the gov knows that a majority of my brothers and sisters at arms will not fight but join the people if it comes to another civil war (with real bullets, dead ppl and such). We are also fed up but dew to the fact that polotics and military service do not mix officaly, we have had the lilltel if not heard voice. Most of you guys say things at work will get into an argument we would possibly get into jail, or be punished in another form under the UCMJ.

I agree with you. The people have to get mad but they won't till they are hungry. I am afraid their will be another civil war and soon. The positive we will get back to what made this country great. The bad is alot of people will get hurt taht shouldn't.

PW - I am not kidding you, only pointing out that the hundreds of thousands of people on the government dole are just fine with what the government is doing, as are may liberals. I agree that the government is ignoring the demands of the sane, rational people who are trying to stop the insane spending, but not enough of those people are making their voices heard, and more importantly, not enough of them are in elected office.

It absolutely is the fault of our government. That's why we have a government. It is to protect the people of the United Staes of America.
Frank & Dodd and Meikes and waters all blocked republican concerns about failing banks several years ago. The video is on this site to review.
Our government has been partners with these banks for years. OBAMA $104,000
Now it is time to take to the streets and make the change ourselves.
It's not accurate to say that the government is "ignoring" our demands, government is skating by on our APATHY!

Are your elected Congressmen giving you audience, and replying to your letters? Most of us here, or at least many of us, were likely active in the last election. Some of us are politically active year round, even non-election years. I do not think it is accurate to claim apathy. Not here, anyway. Not for most of us. Maybe some. (See, I talked myself down.) But, there are those who comment among us, who would stand around with their hands out as they nay-say the tea.
The call to action from this video Thomas Paine was something positive to actually do. Too many of us just whine and complain.

I think that you are right L&O. I think that the problem really lies in the fact that there aren't enough people making those demands.
The liberal way is to keep the people down. Poor education, welfare, hate the rich... When the majority of the population doesn't have a share in the upkeep of the country, they are less inclined to care how it is being cared for. Who cares if the government is spending some 4 trillion on big government.
It is not necessarily that the government is not listening to us, it is more that not enough of "We The People" are saying what needs to be said!
