It not rocket sience to know that when you invest $0.00 into a home, walking away when the interest rates rise is a no brainer. And sure banks made money, but they also knew it would be short lived.

→ First, lowering costs is a nobal goal. However, nothing in the current house bill directly mandates or indicates how they intend to lower costs. The CBO says it will not lower costs, but will actually raise costs. So, unless the "health care oversight panels" (which are a part of the bill) decide to ration care, there are no real cost savings.
