The DNC have chosen their man to take on Comrade Sanders, it’s all they have left and it puts moderates in a very risky place. The endorsements are starting to roll in, Buttigieg and Klubachar are on side, it sounds perfect, but Joe Biden is a flawed ‘chosen one’ and I wonder how he can sustain support while consistently showing himself up in public with his plethora of gaffes becoming part of the show. Sanders is not vulnerable to those kind of garbled outbursts, he is a better debater and better under pressure. The main advantage for Biden is that the hierarchy will do anything to stop Sanders reaching the White House and many voters will never endorse a Socialist candidate.

Two things; the bad performances of Mike Bloomberg who at one time was looking the likely alternative to blundering Biden, and the mistrust of Bernie Sanders, Joe is almost in a ‘last man standing’ scenario and he’s all they’ve got!
