I want to explain something here…I have been reading about Trump not being allowed to reveal the whistleblower’s name, or even about Trump Jr going to prison over retweeting some article that contained alleged whistleblower’s name.

There is nothing in the ICWPA that prevents people from revealing the whistleblower’s identity. The only obligation is that of the inspector general who is not allowed to reveal the whistleblower’s identity without his consent.

The law says nothing about other people, only the inspector general.

So if I understood it correctly…You would say that we do not have the Constitution because it has only 7 articles and cannot possibly cover everything?

What is not prohibited by the law is allowed. Full stop.
